Pine Residences transforms an existing two-family dwelling into a contemporary three-unit multifamily residence through a complete gut renovation, façade redesign, and the addition of a new third floor. The project required extensive zoning relief and municipal approvals to maximize the site's development potential while responding sensitively to the surrounding neighborhood. The architecture draws inspiration from the scale, proportions, and character of adjacent homes, creating a design that integrates naturally within the established urban streetscape. Each floor accommodates a thoughtfully planned two-bedroom, two-bath apartment featuring open-concept living, dining, and kitchen spaces that maximize daylight, comfort, and functionality, demonstrating how adaptive reuse can thoughtfully increase housing density without compromising neighborhood character.
